Tracey is a U.S. Army veteran and professional with a passion for service, holding a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Lynchburg College and a Master's degree in Human Services from Liberty University. Serving almost a decade as a Lynchburg Police Officer, she consistently exhibited unwavering dedication to public safety. Transitioning to a supervisory role in Adult Protective Services, Tracey displayed leadership and compassion in equal measure.

As an integral part of the Central Virginia Crisis Intervention Team, Tracey serves as an instructor, sharing knowledge and insights to benefit both professionals and the community. Notably she developed a two-day CIT course for the Lynchburg Department of Social Services, demonstrating a dedication to improving crisis intervention capabilities. This commitment to others extends to speaking engagements at both state and local conferences, where she addresses topics such as advocacy for individuals with special needs and communication with individuals in crisis. Her passionate advocacy for the marginalized was fueled by the birth of her special needs son and the realization that persons with disabilities are frequently overlooked and underserved.

Beyond her professional commitments, Tracey is a small business owner, balancing entrepreneurship with community welfare. Personally, she finds joy in spending time with her family, reevaluating her life choices during a grueling Crossfit workout, and making a mess in the kitchen trying new recipes that somehow never turn out like they do on Pinterest!
